At St Joseph’s Dementia Care Centre, we provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents and attendees of our Day Care Club. We support individuals at every stage of dementia, from early onset through to palliative care, offering therapeutic and engaging activities in a homely, comforting environment.
Our vision is to lead dementia care in Ireland through innovation, education, and community engagement. We are proud holders of the Quality of Life Butterfly Award from Meaningful Care Matters, recognizing our commitment to relationship-centred care. We also participate in the Irish Hospice Foundation’s Carú Programme, emphasizing person-centred end-of-life care.
While living at home is ideal for as long as possible, St Joseph’s offers a true home for those who need it, fostering a warm, family-like atmosphere in our six lodges. We prioritize emotional well-being and meaningful moments, while attending to each person’s physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs, guided by the values of St John of God: Hospitality, Compassion, and Respect. Currently, we are home to 60 residents, with an additional respite care option and 25 daily visitors to our Day Care Club.
