Before Admission
Medications: Please bring your current medications with you to ensure they are correctly prescribed. These medications can be stored in the hospital pharmacy for up to 28 days. During this period, you may request the nursing staff to return them to you or send them home with a family member. For more information on how our pharmacy staff can assist you, please click here.
Personal Items & Valuables: To ensure the safety of your valuables, such as expensive jewellery and large sums of money, please return them home or deposit them in the Hospital’s Cash Office for safekeeping. The Hospital is not responsible for items kept in patients' rooms. Portable TV sets are not allowed in certain wards; please check with the nursing staff. Alcoholic beverages and any drugs obtained outside the Hospital are strictly prohibited.
Your Admission
What to Bring When you come to the hospital, you are encouraged to get up and dressed each day. Therefore, it's important to bring several changes of casual, comfortable clothes, along with your night clothes.
Please ensure you bring towels and toiletries for your personal hygiene.
Avoid bringing electric blankets, kettles, irons, or hot water bottles.
If you are well enough to attend the gym, bring appropriate gym clothes and runners to support your recovery process. Additionally, bring your current medications to ensure they are prescribed correctly. Medications can be stored in the hospital pharmacy for up to 28 days, with nursing staff available to return them to you or send them home with a family member during this period.
